We, the organizers of Friends of Nature Festival would like to offer our most sincere apologies for not fully delivering what was going to be one of the most inspiring fundraising event to be held in the city of Miami. We had a dream, of uniting musicians and artists of all cultural roots for the first time as equals, not as talent and audience, but as human beings, willing to work together to make this world a better place. Our most important goal was to serve as the voice of the planet and those who care and fight for it. And we took upon ourselves the challenge of doing it in our own community. We intended to plant a seed, and really, really, really needed support of inspiring artists to water it, growing strong roots that we hoped would spread through the entire planet. We worked hard, used our entire life savings, accepting that we might've never gotten anything in return, we did not care, it is our duty as humans. We deeply apologize for the organizational issues as we worked hard under heavy rain and winds for several days to make sure we follow through with our promise. We hope that even with these challenges, we inspired you enough to get involved with your community, and learn about the problems our planet faces, before it's too late. A very special thanks to our amazing production manager Hollywood for working non stop under the weather, and to each and every friend and staff member who worked hard day and night through winds and rain to make FONFEST year 1 a reality. We hope you give us the chance to comeback next year.
